This is a body of intellectuals who thrive despite little exposure and continue to impact the world by writing and discussing philosophical topics. Black philosophers who have made a significant contribution to society through intellectual discourse for the purpose of elevation. This is surely not all of them, but here is a few to get the curiosity activated and as a starting point for future research.
